You can delete your TurtleReel account, made by Turtle Techsai, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete it in the app
- Open TurtleReel.
- Tap the settings icon on the home screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete forever.
Your account and data are deleted immediately, and the app starts over as a new, empty account.
No longer have the app?
Email contact@turtletechsai.com with the subject "Delete my TurtleReel account". Include your User ID (shown in the app under Settings, About) or the email you signed in with. We may ask a question to confirm the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account: the app's install identifier, your sign-in email, name and password, your Google or Apple link, your plan and any remaining credits.
- All reels: original uploads, drafts, exported videos, transcripts, translations, dub tracks, B-roll images, thumbnails and edit settings.
What is kept, and for how long
- Database backups may still contain your data for up to 7 days, then it is gone.
- Server logs (IP address, request times, errors) are kept for up to 30 days for security.
- Purchase records held by Google Play, the App Store and RevenueCat are kept by them under their own policies. We keep only purchase event references needed for tax and accounting, with no link to your deleted account.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Creator or Studio subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Play Store, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions) or on iPhone (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) so you are not charged again.
Want to remove only some reels? Long-press a reel on the home screen and delete it. More details are in the privacy policy.
