These terms are an agreement between you and Turtle Techsai, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India ("we", "us") for your use of the TurtleReel app and its services ("TurtleReel"). By using TurtleReel you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who can use TurtleReel
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use TurtleReel for a business, you accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Your content
- You keep ownership of the videos, audio and other material you upload, and of the reels you create.
- You give us a limited licence to store, process and transform your content only to provide TurtleReel to you, including sending it to the AI services described in the privacy policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the short retention periods in the privacy policy.
- You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to everything in it, including music, footage and the people who appear or speak in it.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use TurtleReel to create or share content that:
- is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates the rules of the platforms where you publish;
- impersonates a real person, or presents a dubbed or translated voice as someone's own words without their consent;
- is misleading in a way that could cause harm, including fake news, fraud or scams;
- is sexual content involving minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses or threatens anyone.
You must not attack, overload, reverse engineer or resell the service, or try to get around plan limits. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. AI features
TurtleReel uses AI to transcribe, edit, translate, voice and illustrate your videos. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected, and translations may change meaning. Review every reel before you publish it. You are responsible for what you publish.
5. Plans, subscriptions and trials
- Free includes 3 exports in total, in 720p with a watermark. Creator and Studio are paid subscriptions with the monthly allowances shown in the app. Monthly allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and unused allowance does not carry over.
- Subscriptions are bought and billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store and renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your store account settings. Deleting the app or your TurtleReel account does not cancel a subscription.
- Free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Each Google Play or App Store account can use a plan's free trial once.
- Prices may change. The store will tell you before a new price applies to your subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we will honour it.
6. Credit packs
Export and dubbing-minute packs are one-time purchases. Credits do not expire, are used after your monthly allowance, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are lost when you delete your account. If an export fails on our side, the credits it used are returned automatically.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep TurtleReel available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you paid for during a billing period, we will tell you and you may cancel.
8. Termination
You can stop using TurtleReel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if required by law. Sections 2, 4, 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply after termination.
9. Disclaimer
TurtleReel is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for TurtleReel in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. For material changes we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use TurtleReel after a change means you accept the updated terms.
